Application For Competent Driving License (CDL)

Applications can be made at any JPJ Offices and e-Services kiosk.

CDL Application Requirements

 - Apply within 7 days prior to the expiration of provisional period
 - Application period is one (1) year from the PDL expiry date
 - The owner is not blacklisted
 - Driving license can be applied for a period of 1 to 5 years

Documents Required

 - Original MyKad/passport of applicants or copies if the transaction is done by representatives
 - Original identification of representatives
 - 1 color photo (white background) with dimension of 25 mm x 32 mm (optional)
 - Hold a valid passport (For foreigners)
 - Fee of RM20.00 for Class B2, B & C (RM2.00 for Class A/A1)
 - Fee of RM30.00 for Class D & above
