Renew Competent Driving License (CDL) Online

Effective from October 2020, online driver’s license renewal has returned to MyEG, though the process now requires a little extra effort. Your photograph will be extracted from JPJ’s records. The Competent Driving License (CDL) produced will be the same as you obtained from the Post Office or JPJ.

All citizen (MyKAD holders), permanent resident (PTM holders), temporary resident (MyKAS holders), police and army are entitled to do the online renewal. All foreign citizens are not allowed to do this online renewal.

Alternatively, renewal of driving licenses can be made at RTD State / Branch, UTC JPJ Counters and Malaysia Post Office (PMB). Applicants may renew their driving license within a minimum of 1 year up to a maximum of 5 years. If the driving license is not renewed within 3 years, the applicant will have to reschedule the test to obtain a driver's license.
