Road Charge
All foreign registered private vehicles (excluding motorcycle) entering
southern border of Peninsular Malaysia will be required to pay Road Charge
(RC) of MYR20.00 for every entry. Failure to pay RC when entering Malaysia
is an offence under Road Transport Act 1987.
The RC is only payable using 'Touch and Go' card - the same card used to pay
toll fees in all expressways in Malaysia. Drivers must ensure that their
'Touch and Go' card have efficient balance.
All motorcycles, commercial, government and embassies / consulates owned
vehicles are exempted from the RC.
